26 septiembre tasting chocolate in wine????saturday night I had a dinner with my best friends and Laura.
I taked a special wine for this special dinner: Curtefranca rosso Ca' del bosco 2003 (price: 10 €).
I knowed the special fragrances and parfumes due the special quality-harvesting year but I never aspected to taste chocolate-like smells! It's the first time, in the past I recognized fragrances as blueberry (french pinot-nior), peach (international chardonnays), other fruits, honey (sateurnes) vinegar(some white bad wine), bread-yeast (bruts), cork (many, many wines), cinnamon(Sonoma's valley wines), pepper (Merlot wine during fermentation), wood (where wine stayed in barriques in particularly Niagara white wines)...but never, never,never chocolate! As a new experience, I particularly liked it and I invite you to try!
Food that we had was't right for the red wine (Pasta peas and wurstel, potatoes and Prosciutto cotto) but the wine was so excellent that all my friends was satisfied!
if you have a red or white wine that you particularly like because of their particular parfumes and tastes, tell me that I want to try new, strange, fragrances
